El Rey Pinot Noir:

The El Rey vineyard is located close to the famous La Purisima Mission.  Our wine label features the La Purisima Mission in honor of the Spaniards, the original winemakers of California.

The Santa Ynez Valley is one of the few West to East coastal Valleys in California.  The area is known for cool coastal breezes with fog at night and sunshine during the daytime.  Perfect for growing the delicate Pinot Noir grapes.   We designed the vineyard with 1 block of the 115 clone, and another block of the 828 clone to produce and blend one complete enjoyable wine.  We source other local vineyards grown by farmers who have the same care and attention for the land.
